What items do you recycle?

We can accept the following items for reuse or recycling: Clothes, Shoes, Jackets, Purses, Hats, Belts, Blankets, Sheets, Jewelry, Bath towels, and any apparel or accessories.

What happens to the items I drop off?

The items we receive are sorted and either recycled into new materials or reused.

How does recycling clothing and shoes benefit the environment?

Recycling reduces landfill waste, conserves resources, and decreases pollution associated with the production of new materials. By recycling, you're helping to protect our planet.

How does Green Team relate to charities?

Green Team operates as a for-profit company separate from charitable organizations. We partner with non-profit organizations to support charitable initiatives, and we make regular monetary donations.

How can I receive a Tax Receipt?

Only nonprofit organizations are allowed to issue tax receipts. Contributions made to us cannot be claimed as tax deductible.

No, you don't. Many of our franchisees manage their Green Team franchise and continue working, make a career change, or are in between jobs periods.

How can I host a recycling bin?

Hosting a recycling bin is effortless. Visit our Host a Bin page and send us a message through our contact form. We’ll get in touch with you to discuss all the details.

Is there a fee for the pickup service?

No, our pickup service is completely free of charge. However, to be able to pick up your item sustainably, we require at least 10 bags per pickup request.

How it works?

You have to schedule a clothing drive event at your location. Gather unwanted clothing and textiles from participants. We pickup the items and handle the logistics. Your organization receives a portion of the proceeds from the collected items, providing a valuable source of funding for your initiatives.
